How do you enter the US legally to work?
Let's say I am a poor Mexican willing to work hard and abide by the laws. I want to come to the United States and pick fruit, or mow lawns or wash dishes. How do I get here legally? If you believe there is a way, please cite the applicable visa provisions. I do not think there is a legal way for such a person to enter this country. Sorry, H2A visa will not work unless you already have a job offer from a US company. The other visa provisions mentioned are for skilled workers. I am talking about unskilled labor without a previous job offer from a US company. There is no legal way for such a person to enter this country to my understanding. Marrying an American citizen is a good way to enter, but also probably not a viable option for the type of person I am talking about.

- If you have brown skin, tell them you are really white. Get a Texas drawl . Change your name to Billy Bob or Bubba.
- H-2A Visa (Agricultural Workers) TN Visa (Canada and Mexico) citizens to be admitted to the U.S. to engage in ‘business activities at a professional level’

- Hmm...my daughter in law is a French national. She has a degree in math and is currently working towards her PhD. She has never spent a second in this country illegally. A colleague is from Cameroon. He also has never spent a second in this country illegally. My stepson's wife is a naturalized citizen, from Mexico City. Apply through USCIS, if you qualify, then you can become an immigrant as well. If you enter illegally, shame on you.
