Do most people who live in small towns re-seed their lawns every year?

Our friend insisted on loaning us his lawn seeder 'because we needed it'. Our grass looks fine to me, but until recently, I have been a 'farm only' dweller. (I know, country bumkin all over me!) If I were to re-do the lawn, I have checked into this 'zoyzia' golf course grass that would cost only slightly more than the cost of grass seed. Your opinion please! Thank you!

1. Hmmm i have never reseeded, heck it enough keeping it cut...I give two thumbs up to the person who created the riding lawn mower...Its my favorite piece of equipment on this ranch...lol
2. I have lived in small towns my entire life and have never known anyone who reseeds every year.
3. No haven't seen much of that we consider large lawns a wasteland.Of course alot of people have them anyway lol.Usually you will find small front lawns and large back gardens,at least in my area.
