Reseeding a lawn?

I live in southern Illinois, I have Kentucky bluegrass planted under all my shade trees and around the house, but our side lot (2.3 acres-no shade) needs to be reseeded. What type of grass will blend with the bluegrass in full sun? I can't use any type of fescue, because I have horses.
