Ok to use grub X newly germinated grass?

Hi. I seeded my lawn a couple of weeks ago with Kentucky Bluegrass. It finally started to germinate. Now my landscaper neighbor says he thinks I definitely have grubs. Is it ok to de grub with grub X (or similar treatment) with newly germinated grass?

  1. I've done it and it doesn't hurt the new grass. There is a natural way to do it without chemicals its called nema-toads. They come in a sponge and you mix it with water and they release then using a sprayer put it on the lawn. They are a living parasite that attach to the grubs and kills them
  2. It should be fine to apply to new grass.BUT, make sure you don't apply it too early, they hatch in august
