What type of grass is used in commercial locations in Northern California?

If you go to commercial locations like office parks and restaurants in Northern California, all the grass seems to be a certain type with hardy, lush blades. I want this grass for my lawn. What type of grass is it? E.g. kentucky bluegrass? Thanks.

1. I think it is a fescue type, possibly red fescue. Can withstand longer breaks between watering. Withstands a lot of traffic and abuse and I think it is fairly disease resistant. Kentucky Bluegrass has much thinner blades and has lost favor in N. Calif. Too much work to maintain.
