How much should i charge for mowing lawns?
This summer, i am thinking about starting a small lawn mowing business, just around the neighborhood because I don't have a trailer. I don't have any experience except with my own lawn and I want to know what is a reasonable price for me to charge.

- i would say 5.00 an hour? i am not sure if you want to go higher, but to start out i would say that, and then work your way up as you go! best of luck with it!
- depending on how big. I think they charge by the size. I never hired a service, but I would pay 20 bucks for an hour's service min wage around here is like 5 bucks right? my yard is pretty big see what the rate is in your area
- 25 dollars
- good landscapers charge about $100 per month, mowing every week, this includes clean up too and maybe a little weeding..I would say a good place to start is there, which is about $25 per hour...so you will have to guess how long it will take to do the yards..of course this is based on southern California living...
- i think it would depend on the lawn size or just charge by hour maybe like, 6$/hour? i have no idea.. haha
- I assume you are not in school since lawns need to be mowed from April thru October. I mow 65 lawns and charge 7$ per hour if I use their mower, and 8$ if I use my mower. These are rock bottom prices and some customers pay 10$ per hour, and one wealthy customer pays 20$ per hour. If you are in a big town, I would say 10$ per hour if you are using your mower, but maybe 12$ since with the cost of gas, you will use one dollars worth of gas for a lawn that takes an hour. Don't you have a car or a pickup. Some customers will want the clippings hauled away, and you will probably have to trim all the lawns.
