What weight of a bag of grass seeds should i buy for 9ft by 9ft area?

I am doing a science project that involves the growth of grass seeds. I have 9 pots that are each 1 foot by 1 foot. So added up it would be 9 squared feet of space I need to plant grass. So what type (weight wise) should i buy of grass seeds.

1. If you are looking at 9 different types of grass to grow in 9 different pots than 1/8 an ounce of each is more than plenty.
