Weed and Feed Buffalo Grass?

Hello Today I went to the garden store and asked what the best weed and feed thing was for my Sir Walter lawn. The guy said to me that weed and feed was fine and so was this other stuff that said NOT SUITABLE FOR BUFFALO GRASS. I told him I had Sir Walter and thought it might be a Buffalo grass but he said it would be fine. I then went home and weeded and feeded my lawn. Now I google what Sir Walter is and find out its Buffalo GRASS!!!! What can I do? Will all my lawn die now?

1. No. The amount of lawn weed killer in bagged weed and feed products is so low as to be utterly ineffectual at recommended spread rates..
