what is a good type of fertilizer for growing a radish?

I am doing a project for my high school and it is on what type of fertilizer will make a radish (i am probably going to pick a scarlet globe) will make it grow the most. So what type of fertilizer should i buy?

  2. mainly just water. They grow almost anywhere.
  3. horse shit...no really old horse manure works great.
  4. radishes arent the hardest to grow but if you want large radishes i would say well rotted horse manure if its not then this could burn and event kill the raddish good luck with your ptoject
  5. Grow them in pure well cured compost. They will grow very large. I grew Silver Queen corn one year in two inches of compost on top of the existing garden soil. Every stalk made two ears as opposed to one, which is normal. Commercial fertilizer would work well also, but nothing beats pure compost.
