Do i need a business license to put a sticker about my lawn care service on the back glass of my truck?
I'm from Jonesboro AR and i mow yards on the side for extra cash. I've decided to put a sticker on my back glass to advertise my services. Do i need a business license so i won't get a ticket? Also I don't do companies because i don't want to pay for insurance. Thanks for the help

- Regulations vary from state to state, but you will surely need to register the business with your county. To put a business sign On your vehicle is more likely to get you into trouble with the department of transportation than with any licensing bureau.
- Most states consider any vehicle you use for business purposes to be a commercial vehicle and should be registered accordingly. ALSO not having insurance for yourself or any employees is a VERY BIG mistake that is just waiting to bite you in the butt. You are operating power equipment that can mangle an arm or a leg or worse in a split second. One slip can result in up to hundreds of thousands of dollars of hospital, doctors and or lawyers bills.
