Do i need a business license to put a sticker about my lawn care service on the back glass of my truck?

I'm from Jonesboro AR and i mow yards on the side for extra cash. I've decided to put a sticker on my back glass to advertise my services. Do i need a business license so i won't get a ticket? Also I don't do companies because i don't want to pay for insurance. Thanks for the help

1. Regulations vary from state to state, but you will surely need to register the business with your county. To put a business sign On your vehicle is more likely to get you into trouble with the department of transportation than with any licensing bureau.
2. Most states consider any vehicle you use for business purposes to be a commercial vehicle and should be registered accordingly. ALSO not having insurance for yourself or any employees is a VERY BIG mistake that is just waiting to bite you in the butt. You are operating power equipment that can mangle an arm or a leg or worse in a split second. One slip can result in up to hundreds of thousands of dollars of hospital, doctors and or lawyers bills. Where are you gonna get the funds to pay for Mrs. Jones $5,000 prize winning rose bush when you accidentally cut it off flush with the ground.
