Is it ok to water your vegetables and plants with compost tea and liquid fertilizer at the same time?

Or is that too much?

1. Both are "liquid fertilizer", so you do risk adding too much nitrogen at once. Use one or the other.
2. Scienceguy is right, it's OK, but probably too much nitrogen at one time. You'd need to really dilute them down. Excess nitrogen would cause salt burn to the plants, damaging roots and limiting ability to take in water, thus the "burn" look to the plants. Of course always fertilize moist soil, don't be applying this to dry soil.
