How do I start my own lawn mowing company?

I live in North Lauderdale, FL. I live in an older neighborhood with older folks. I am only 13 and want to make some money by starting a lawn mowing company. I used to mow one yard a week back when i lived in Missouri but these people were just right down the road. So I could just ride over there. Now I don't have a car. So no transportation other than riding the mower. I need help and ideas for advertising, names, and etc. Any help appreciated.

2. Actually, my son did exactly what you want to do and at your same age! He had an old Lawn Boy mower & put fliers on -- not in! -- mailboxes of homes in the neighborhood. His price was competitive with the Landscapers/Lawn Care Companies working our area. Plus, he would go the 'extra mile' and take their trash to the road or do anything else that the homeowner wanted -- sweeping, watering, etc.! After a couple of years, he was purchasing more sophisticated mowing equipment and had hired 2 employees. He had almost more business than he could handle! At age 17, he had three of the biggest Lawn Care Companies in our area wanting to buy his client list! He continued his Lawn Care Business until he graduated from college & then sold his client list to the highest bidder! I hope you are as successful in your business! You can do it!
