Should I plant new grass seed?
I planted kentucky blue grass seed 14 days ago. I heard kentucky blue grass takes about 20 to 30 days to germinate. The seed test date was on 2009 it says, but I planted some of it in my backyard and it grew fast and well. SHould I wait? Or should I buy a new seed? I dont remember how long it took for it to sprout. Have you ever planted seed? how many days did it take you.

- Depends on where you live. Yes it will take about 20 to 30 days. However the temperature must be 50 degrees and grass kept damp, not wet for the same time. If the temperature is below 50 degrees it will take longer to germinate. I f the temp is right, it is kept moist and it has not germinated , i would re plant , the seed may be old Good luck.& happy mowing
