Do i have to pay this Lawn care service?

While at work some lawn care service came and cut my lawn (unrequested) while i was at work and then left an invoice on my door.... for forty dollars.... I have a rather small lawn... they only CUT the front no weed eating or anything already 40 sounded outrageous... I own my own lawn mower and yard supplies and i cut regularly... Am i required to pay for this unwanted service? no, no notice from the state, I cut it once ever 2-3 weeks my grass is never high from the
