how long before i plant grass seeds after using a weed killer?

ive just rotorvated my garden and leveled it but need to know which weed killer to use and how long before i put grass seeds down.thanks took out most of weeds but there will still be more roots underneath soil that ive missed but dont want to dig over again.will it be best to weedkill now or sow grass seeds and weedkill as grass grows thanks

1. Use Roundup spray. It will kill everything. Wait a minimum of 2 weeks before seeding. DO NOT use any granular product or anything with a pre-emergent weed killer.
2. Why do you want to put down weedkiller? Is there weeds? You just tilled the soil, plant it.
