does a smaller seed grow faster?
Does the size of a seed determine how fast it will grow? Will a bean seed take longer than grass, radish or marigold seeds?

- The size of the plant's seeds has no influence on the rate of speed at which it grows. Radishes germinate faster than marigolds, but the marigold seed is larger. However, larger seeds of the same type (the larger of two bean seeds, for example) may grow marginally faster than smaller ones due to more sugars stored in the seed. VCE Master Gardener
