How much for a UREA refill on the 2011 Ford diesels?
We are thinking of leasing a few of these trucks for the farm. Do we have to use UREA from FORD or can we use UREA from the local fertilizer suppliers? Or can I get a few of the hands drunk and just have them pysse in the tank?

- Most dealers will be selling bulk UREA for around $7, since most big trucks, CASE, New Holland and several other companies are either using or going to be using UREA the availability of aftermarket UREA should increase. Depending on the size of your fleet you could buy it in 55 gallon drums but you need to watch the shelf life on it, they tell us it will only last about 6 months depending on the climate conditions. As for the fertilizer I am not sure how that would work, the truck has sensors to detect the UREA quality to prevent people from watering it down. Last but not least, I am pretty sure the drunk hands theory won't work well, they would miss the hole and pee on the side of your truck making a mess.
