If i pull grass, does the grass turn yellow, if so how long will it take to turn yellow?

I need to put something green on a poster. One side with yellow grass and one side with green grass. when i pull the green grass out, will it stay green?

1. Grass should stay green for 2-3 days. Try to dry it out with out any sun getting on it or you could try to freeze dry it in your freezer between some book pages to keep it straight. It should then stay green for a couple of weeks or longer. Keep it in a zip lock bag so it gets no moisture.
2. If you wanted it to stay green, try chives or "cat grass" sold in pet stores, they last somewhat longer and keep their color when green.
