The Grass Doctor

websites with recipes for plant fertilizer, preferably different varieties?

Since the chemicals are cheap and commercially offered liquid fertilizer comparatively expensive and also not adaptable to different plants, does anybody know a website which has recipes for making your own from ingredients like KCl, MgSO4 etc? I've read I would need a high potassium fertilizer for a palm tree I have, and I can't find anything locally, but it wouldn't be a problem for me to mix it myself as I have access to basic chemicals. I just don't want to kill my plants in the process. If anybody who know a useful website in that regard, please let me know. Thanks for any inspirations you may be able to provide...
