What is the best grass seed to grow in dense shade in Oklahoma?

I live west of OK City, and have lots of shade in my front yard. Last year I bought and spread 5 bags of shade grass and top soil and my yard still looks like a little old man with one hair here and one sticking up there! What can I do, I have lots of holes to fill in.

1. It is in the interpretation of the word shade. I di as you for about 2 years - same result. Even shade grass's ( Fescue is one ) still needs at least 4 hours of light to make it. Thin the canopy or make a shade garden bed with plants that can take it. You already have your answer from your efforts - don't fight mother nature.
