how to get a decent lawn from roll out type grass?
i have two types of grass part is sod the rest is roll out . it looks like straw water and it turns green but very poor quality.

- I may be wrong, but by sod, I think you mean it was planted from seed, because the roll-out type is called sod. To get a good lawn from sod, or the rolled variety, it needs complete, constant contact with well-worked soil underneath, and to be kept constantly moist until it's well established. You'll need to water deeply enough to get the soil underneath wet, to encourage the sod to send down roots. If there are any air pockets or dry areas under the sod, it will die. Hope this helps...
