does lawn grass have seeds ? if yes where i can buy it?

i was wondering where can i buy seeds for lawn grass. i know those available in nursury. but i want seeds

1. Grass grows, sends up flowering shoots, these develop into small heads of seeds in the summer. If you want to gather your own - go into a field with long grass, cut off the seed heads, dry and sow. If you don't want to go to all this trouble, go to a large Store with a gardening section and you will find boxes of grass seeds for sale - for a strong lawn which takes a lot of wear, choose seeds containing "Rye grass", for a decorative lawn with little wear in ideal conditions, choose "Fine Lawn" seed. If your garden gets little sun or is overshadowed by trees, choose a packet calling itself "Shady Places grass seed" Honestly, you can buy just the same packets in a plant Nursery.
2. Sure if you let grass grow tall enough it will get seeds on the top. Any lawn and garden center has grass seeds for sale and there is many kinds of grass seed available from your local hardware store, Kmart,wal-mart, farm supply, etc.
3. If you have lawn grass wate to grow and it wil giv eyou seeds or try local folowr market
4. lawn grass will not set seeds because we usually trim the lawn often....usually it is propagated through slips or roots
