what kind of grass seed should i use on the bare spots on my lawn?

I have tried many different things...we put down regular grass seed and that didnt work.we also tried that patch master by scotts,didnt work either.we watered it like your suppose to,didnt walk on it but still bare spots.it seems in the same spots.does anyone know of a product that truly works? yes,we rough up the area before putting down the seed.

  2. What causes the bare spots? Deer urine, dog urine? Nothing will grow there. dig up the soil and replace with good soil and replant. If wees won't grow ther, grass won't either
  3. When reseeding bare spots I start by raking our or tilling the section. I then mix in manure or fertilizer to give it extra nutrients. I then normally plant tall Kentucky Fescue as I have the best luck with this. You have to make sure you water well and stay off it, but if you do your bare spots should start sprouting grass in 5-7 days. Remember to only water before 11 am and after 7pm to avoid the grass being killed by overheating and burning.
