starting up a lawn care business?

me and my girlfriend want to start up a lawn care business we are only 18 and we thought it would be a good way to make money and i now a few things we need like a tractor lawnmorwe and a trimer but what els do we need and whats a good brand name like john deere husk or what kind tractor any info woulld be really good

1. You will need a truck, trailer, blower, ways to leave invoices, advertising, a commercial riding lawnmower and the knowledge to repair it because it gets hours of hard use. Try for a used mower because new, the commercial mowers can run upwards of 10K.
2. i have repeatedly been told ex-marks are the best mowers. a stick edger is a good thing to have as well. you also want some ear and eye protection, safety first, its really aggravating with that stuff on, but i have known several people who have lost their hearing due to lengthy time on mowers. a gas blower, rakes, if your planning on doing beds then you'll need stuff for that, but remember in some states it is illegal to install plant material without a license, or you have to work under someone with a license. but you would probably only get a fine for that, i have never known anyone who served jail time.
3. dixie chopper or x-mark or both 60 inch cut around 9500 plus trailer 1.00 per min. per mower how long will it take u to pay for it my yard is 2 acres i have a dixie chopper takes me 1hr. ten min. do the math an im picky
