What is a good grass type pokemon for heart gold?

im looking for a good grass type but not one u have ta trade to get and i started with cyndaquil so chikarita is out of the question ps i only have 4 badges

1. in kanto,the only good (not sure..coz they not pure grass) are bellsprout,exeggcute,hoppip and paras.. but for me,i prefer using AR code so i can get chikorita or any other grass type stater pokemon or others.. if u want the AR,i can give it to you but the only specific pokemon u want..i dont mind~ but the AR code was only in English Heartgold,not japanese !! but if u want to find in game,that the only pokemon available..
2. List of Good/Decent grass Pokemon: Sceptile (Obtainable after getting all 16 badges and beating Red by, Talking to Steven in Silph co.) Leafeon (Obtain EEVEE in Goldenrod City by talking to Bill, then give EEVEE a grass stone.) Meganium (Try to obtain over WI-FI) Victreebell (Obtain WeepinBell/BellSprout Route 24 25 there are other places to find BellSprout but that is where they are both located, and I would not reccomend VictreeBell for online.) Sunflora (Learns mostly grass moves, Obtainable by catching Sunkern on Route 24 National Park or Safari Zone then give sunkerst a sun Stone.) Bellosom (Obtain Gloom then give Gloom a sun stone.) That is all i can think up right now sorry i know it is very little.
