What type of fertilizer do I need to use on my palmetto/St augustine type grass and at what frequency?

1. Scotts. And use it twice a year
2. scotts is a misleading answer, as they have several formulas. on st. augustine in the south, use a 15-5-10 ratio fertilizer or something close to that ratio (3-1-2). i dont reccomend weed and feed. also, you can fert in spring and in fall with that, and then hit it with a winterizer at the beginning of winter to get your roots to push out.
