Is there a type of grass I can plant in January?

I live in Kansas and am looking to plant grass, asap. Is there something I can plant in January? What type? I really need to grow grass. Any help would be appreciated

1. Grass seed will not germinate in these cold temperatures. Sod will do fine as long as the sod growers fields are dry enough to cut the sod. In Kansas it will most likely be a bluegrass or fescue sod.
