The Grass Doctor

What kind of grass can i plant for my indoor cat to eat?

I tried the cat grass treat from Target and she loved it, but the grass died quickly. I'd like to plant something in a pot that she can eat, but i'm not sure what to plant. Thanks!

  1. how about some catnip?
  2. It all dies very quickly. I plant oat grass for my kitties on a weekly basis. I just plant a small planter full and it is ready for them in about a week. Every week they get a fresh batch. I have catnip also, but it takes a very long time to grow. I ordered it online from a place called poopsie something-or-another and it came with great directions for growing the grass.
  3. if you go to petco, they have kitty grass kits there
  4. try getting a window planter thing and plant grass in there. water it regulary and it should stay for a while......... also give him/her some cat nip they love it . (Do exept the fact your cat will go mental for a few muintes but it will calm down after a while lol) hope thats of some help
  5. I just don't plant the entire packet. That way when it dies I don't have to run and get more. I just plant a fresh batch every week from the same packet and it lasts about 2 months this way. It's only oat grass anyways.
  6. wheat grass
