I think I did something bad to my lawn...?

Last night, I put down a Scott's brand Weed and Feed. I didn't even think about seeding my yard (the previous owner took no care of the yard and has lots of weeds and bare spots). It says on the bag not to seed for 1 month. Is there any more I can do in the meantime?

4. Scotts has about the best products going. What they mean by don't seed is New seed will not germinate as well after weed and seed. But it wont hurt the already established lawn. You didn't do anything wrong, you just have to wait a few weeks to over seed.
