Growing Cat Grass. What should they look like?

I have planted Cat Grass seeds in soil in pots about a week ago. Has anyone grown Cat Grass before? They have recently sprouted. I am not sure they were cat grass seeds, as they are growing in almost translucent with oval buds at the top. Is that normal?

1. That doesn't sound right. Cat grass aka Wheat grass looks exactly like thick lawn grass. It's green with no buds at all.
2. no cat grass grows to be about 4 to 5 inches, and looks like its name Grass. A thick hardy grass but grass. Green thick grass like sprouts. Translucent and oval buds does not describe cat grass at all.
