where can a 14 year old find a job?

We live in Washington state and my son wants to work. We have fast food and grocery stores near by. He wants a regular job not just mowing lawns or babysitting. He already gets good grades and it is legal for a 14 year old to work. He wants to buy a car and I don't see anything wrong with that. Kids used to work now all they do is sit on their butts and play video games why parent buy them everything they want.

2. Not many places will hire a 14 year old. Tell him his job is to go to school and get good grades!

7. I live in FL and I heard that McDonald's and Burger King and other fast food places might hire you at 14, also grocery stores might too but you would be a bagger and a cart-pusher.. ;D
8. Most states you have to be 15 1/2 or 16 Might I suggest your relatives store? They can have him work there and he can be payed under the counter and it would be easier to get him hired..

11. not many places that can hire someone under the age of 16.. and many places wont or cant hire until you are 18. About the only thing may be a paper route.. otherwise I know there are circumstances where you can get a work permit and work at 14, but not sure which jobs would hire.. grocery store may hire him as a bagger, but that's about it.

13. Culver's minimum hiring age is 14 with a workers permit. I called many stores because I am 14 looking for a job. This was the response they gave which makes me happy after looking for so long. Find a local one go online and apply and go in store to apply or call and ask if they are hiring. What I did was Google a bunch of business near my home and found their numbers using Google maps or their sites and I called and directly asked if they are hiring and what age do they hire at. Try local grocery stores, pizza parlors, retail stores, fast food restaurants.
