With jobs being so scarce, would Americans take the jobs currently being held by illegal aliens?

Just to be clear on the matter--would Americans not apply and get hired for the jobs currently held by illegal aliens in this country? With unemployment as high as it is across this nation, would you applyand try to get jobs cleaning, at fast food places, mowing lawns, construction, truck driving, or any other type of work they are known to do?

1. Nobody relishes the idea of searching for a job, and the majority of us need all the help we can get. After being jobless for the last month I netted a fantastic job after reading the website in the box below and following their tips for a few weeks. give it a try, it certainly helped me.
2. Those jobs were originally held by an American citizen who wanted to keep his/her job. Most of those types of jobs are STILL held by citizens. And yes, there are so many millions of uneducated citizens, teens looking for after-school & weekend jobs, out-of-work construction workers, etc, that those jobs can & should all be held by citizens. With over 31 million Americans desperately searching for work now, the departure or deportation of every immigration-law violator in the country would open more jobs to Americans than any other possible action the govt could take. Of course, we'd still have 15 - 20 million unemployed Americans looking for work once all the illegals were out of here.
