What is the best grass seed to plant in my horse pasture for grazing?

1. it all depends on where in the country you live in adn what thrives well. You can go to your local feed store and ask them what is the best kind to seed with.
2. They have seed you can purchase that is specifically designed/manufactured for horses to eat. Your hay supply or outdoor supply store would know what brand(s) are available. It's very expensive compared to regular grass seed. Here in CA it cost over $100 per bag (not sure of the bag weight). That's a lot of moola to throw on the ground and hope it grows.
