whats the recommended watering time for my yard??and what grass seed would best suit my yard??
live in texas so the weather i shot, humid, dry, cool, sunny, cloudy, ect. The weather is VEEERY unpredictable but fo rthe most part i guess you could say its hot and humid wiht the occasional showers. My yard gets alot of sun and currently has alot of dry patches. What is the best grass seed to plant in my yard and what time of the day, for how long, and how often should i water my yard??

- For your kind of conditions (and mine too...I'm from Oklahoma) I'd recommend Bermuda. It's extremely hardy and drought resistant. I water in the early evening or at night so that it doesn't evaporate as quickly thus making watering more effective. Because of the drought we are having I water at least twice a week for 15-20 minutes with my sprinklers before I move them to a different area. I also mow only once every three weeks and fertilize with miracle gro and a pump sprayer every month. A warning though...Bermuda spreads like wild fire so if you don't want it in flower beds you need to use plastic barriers and mulch to keep it out. You'll have to use roundup for whatever comes up in you driveway or sidewalk because pulling won't kill it...Like I said...Extremely hardy...
