What type of grass is the softest?

I am redoing my backyard, and i need to plant new grass...I was wondering what type of grass is the softest....i just want a the most cushion I can get for the kids...thankyou

7. softest grass. i think it has nothing to do with the type, but what the grass is growing in. kentucky blue grass
8. blue grass...it is not durable like centipede grass.
9. Buy Kentucky blue grass(seriously that's the name)...grows nice & great for kids...
