What type of grass do I plant in Arizona for the winter?

I am told it is time to plant winter grass (I live in Phoenix, AZ) and I want to know what is the best type for this area. Is there a particular brand that is good?

2. Winter Rye - widely used here in the southwest.
3. You should not plant grass in Arizona. It uses too much water. Plant something native. Your local nursery can help you.
