  1. They love the full sun and warm weather. If it's been below 40, that's really bad. I used a 5 gallon pot and mine are doing fine. As for water - it really depends on your area. Sometimes, 2-3 times per week is fine, but other areas like mine, need watering almost every day. Good luck!!
  2. pot size should be ten gall,I think or bigger. The soil should be a well drained soil, micro grow not out of the fields.U can put stone or broken pots in the bottom to allow for draining. They like lots of sun if the pot is real light then u are very dry.water in the early morning or late evening mid day u can kill it do to the sun baking the plant.Liquid fertilizer will work follow the diction's on it.
  3. It all depends on the type of plant you have. Did it come with a little card with picture & info. If not go back to the store and find one that's the same as yours or go online and get some info. I planted them in a large galvanized container and got good tomatoes but not many. If the dirt is wet two inches down it's ok. A little Miracle Grow helps. Use the amounts they suggest. It should get at least 6 hours of sun a day. Always keep an eye out for bugs. A little bit of Ortho Seven garden dust helps to avoid bugs. Just sprinkle it on and around the plant. Good Luck.
  4. This sound crazy but my my dad beat his tomatoes with a stick and WORKED.
