What is a good plant to plant around a tree.?
I am redoing all of my flower beds and I can' t seem to find anything that looks good around my tree in my front yard. I don't like the grass type plants like monkey grass or anything like that I just want something that looks good. Thanks in advance

- Hostas would be my first choice, especially if it's really shady under the tree.
- Hostas are an excellent choice because they look good spring through fall. If you want some color also plant: forget-me-nots Jacob's ladder lily-of-the-valley sweet william impatiens
