The Grass Doctor

What is a good plant to plant around a tree.?

I am redoing all of my flower beds and I can' t seem to find anything that looks good around my tree in my front yard. I don't like the grass type plants like monkey grass or anything like that I just want something that looks good. Thanks in advance

  1. Hostas would be my first choice, especially if it's really shady under the tree.
  2. Hostas are an excellent choice because they look good spring through fall. If you want some color also plant: forget-me-nots Jacob's ladder lily-of-the-valley sweet william impatiens
