how to make your grass grow fast?

how do you make established grass grow back fast, I've been watering my grass for the month its come back up though in clumps (sort of the same grass as golfing grass) what else could i use on it i tried seaweed liquid which has made it greener oh yes not all of the ground has grass on it theres some sandy spots, i also tried growing seed on those spots but funny enough its come up sparse any hints thankyou

1. There are special seeds you can buy that are scientifically made to grow at any season and time also fast, but they do cost a lot. Look up on the internet, i dont have the web site that i used but i am sure you will find it easy.
2. Lots of rain water.
3. It depends on the climate where you live. In winter, daylight hours are short. The grass wants more sunshine than most plants, so will not do well in cold or shade.
