About how much does it cost to have a professional aerate my lawn?

We had our home built about 4 years ago, in what used to be a marshy field, and it has been very difficult to grow anything (other than crabgrass). We live in central TX (hot and dry), have lots of clay and are very tired of picking weeds off of our lawn because our bermuda grass just doesn't seem to make it. We are thinking about aerating and perhaps switching to buffalo grass... but have no time to do this ourselves. Does anyone know about how much it would cost to have a proffessional take care of this? (~1500 sq ft)
