- Typically this will be up to the homeowner. If you go, park at Jones Beach and take the shuttle. If you park on someone's front lawn without their approval, odds are you'll come back to find your car towed.
- no their is not. plus you would be so far away you would have to flag a shuttle. the homeowner would need permits. the cost of which would far exceed the cost to repair danger to property take the shuttle as grey hound says leave the driving to us. you never would get out of their. 8 hours on the course 6 hours of car idling try to get into traffic from course parking employees only etc. take the shuttle and gallon of water . backpack for purchases . and for health reasons hat sunscreen, energy drink. please do not buy any type of prepacked sand which. asking for tummy probs. buy hot dog etc. do not use mayo. very likely spoiled. granola bars etc.
- Yes we are parking cars on Stymus Ave Bethpage, NY 11714. Our house # is 33 Stymus Ave. Mapquest and see how close. We are Parking and offering rides to main entrance. We are the last "open to public" Road before the Clubhouse entrance. Cops and troopers are instructing drivers to turn around, right before our street, to go park at Jones Beach. NO NEED TO!!! Come to STYMUS AVE we have plenty of parking!! and just drive past the security... if asked tell them you are coming to Stymus Ave to park. Our road IS NOT CLOSED for the US OPEN, It is a through road being used by many to get around all the road blocks and closures set up for the US Open. All the troopers and Police, say they are there to just stop people from driving up the road to the ClubHouse Entrance. Which is not being used as an entrance. But also routing cars away from Stymus Ave which as I said.... is an acceptable Road and NOT CLOSED for the US Open. If stopped and asked by a man in blue, just say you are going onto Stymus to find LOCAL PARKING. Our parking cars on our property, has the OK from the town and police. Its been on the News WNYW or channel 5 for you New Yorkers. We were interviewed right in front of our house. SO YES THERE IS PLENTY OF LOCAL PARKING ^^^ EXIT 8 off the 135 AKA Seaford Oyster Bay Expressway. go Left at the end of exit 8's exit ramp. we are 1/8 mile up the road. stay to the right, kind of a fork to the right. The last OPEN TO THE PUBLIC ROAD. Just before the clubhouse entrance (which is The left of the fork). Don't let them force you to turn around. Just stay to the right and drive right down Stymus Ave to the stop sign #33 and we will park your car for the day and have rides to and from. COME SEE US the whole block is having a fun time with this. Happy US OPEN!!
