are my mystery snails (2) eating my plants?
i have the current set up: 30 gallon tank with 12 livebearers, 4 cory cats, 1 female betta, and 2 mystery snails lately my plants are looking not yellow, but chewed up. ESPECIALLY my mondo grass. i have the current plants: Mondo grass some un opened bulb seeds 2 anubias driftwood 1 red lugwia. ALSO, could i possibly even keep mystery snails with plants? was planning on buying more snails to get rid of some algea... but, help?

- It is most likely a combination of the snails and livebearers.
- What kind of livebearers? Some of them tend to like plants to snack on. You might have another type of snail in the tank that is eating the plants like the little pond snail. mondo grass is not an aquatic plant and will die if left under water. So that might be the problem. Get some Crypto Spiralis or Crypto retrospiralis. It's hardy does fine in low light and very easily to grow. It looks like long grass. I love mine.
