What is causing the tips of my grass to turn brown?

I planted Scotts grass seed 4 weeks ago and the grass came up very well within 7 to 10 days. However, recently the tips of the grass have begun to turn brown, what has caused this? The soil has been kept moist, but not wet, and the lawn has not been cut.

1. Maybe the grass is dry and does't get enough water/rain? Thats what my grass did when we didnt get any rain for 2 weeks!!!
2. If your weather is really hot that is what's causing it. once it cools down some it should be fine. Be sure you have a good sharp mower blade when you start to mow it so you don't just pull it up and smash it.
3. If you water your lawn during the day, try watering it in the evening. This will give the roots a chance to grow, and rejuvenate the blades with moisture.
4. Dorught stress. Mow every 5 days. Now go drink a beer and relax.
