what is the best fertilizer to use for my veggies in containers my tomatoes have flowers but no tomatoes?

  1. Tomorite or some other high potash feed.
  2. Use a general fertiliser until the tomatoes appear then use a tomato feed which is high in potash General basic fertiliser has a balanced NPK. The N is Nitrogen and is for leafy growth, P is phosphorus for seed germination and root growth and K (kalium) is Potash also known as potassium and required for fruit and flower production. The flowers need insects to pollinate them or you can do it with a soft brush. The flowers drop off easily they haven't been pollinated.
  3. Of the three main elements in fertilizer, Nitrogen is important for stem, leaf, and green growth in general. Phosphorus is needed for flower and fruit production and Potash is essential for all over plant well being. For normal vegetable growth simply use a balanced fertilizer. For your tomatoes, just before the blossoms appeared would have been the best, but they can still benefit from an application of a high phosphorus blend, such as 12-24-12 right now to promote more blossoms and fruit.
