Has anyone used Cat Grass or Grass Seed for their Cat?

Did they seem to enjoy it? Did you grow it or buy it already grown?

1. Some cats love it. It comes in seed form in a light weight planter. Put it in a heavier shallow planter so they can't drag it around or knock it over.
2. Yes, I tried it. I ended up taking my 16 year old to the vet. She had gastritis and had stopped eating. After doing some research, I learned that grass is one of the common irritants for a cat's stomach. My 2 year old didn't have a problem, but then he was just amusing himself by ripping the blades out of the soil. Goofy cat! Anyway, it will upset some cats' stomachs, and others do just fine. Be cautious. I won't be using it again.
3. I bought some cat grass for my cat and she wouldn't eat it, but when I take her outside- she loves to eat the grass out there, and most of the time she will throw it back up. Then she wants back in the house. So I threw out the cat grass.
