How long before it's safe to send a puppy on a fertilized lawn?

The problem is she eats the grass like crazy. My mother fertilized the lawn now i have to use a leash and walk her in the back yard to get her to pee. But she does not seem to want to pee on the leash so she waits till i put her back in the house then pees. Its really annoying.

1. I wouldnt put her on the grass she could get poisoned if she ate it. Maybe take her for a walk around the block or something? Good luck!
2. Read the directions on the back of the bag and also the warning signs about animals and when it is safe to let them on the grass. My dogs won't go pee on a leash either which is why our yard is fenced in so they can run till their little hearts are content. Good luck
