Recently, I was fertilizing my lawn and accidently more seeds fell out than they were supposed to on one patch?
in my lawn, a little while after I checked back and it basically killed the grass in that patch and it's brown and yellowish. How do I fix this problem to make it blend in with the rest of my green lawn? Thanks

- You sprinkle new grass seed all over the dead patch. Do not remove the old grass. The old grass will hold in moisture and shade the new grass so it can take root and grow. It will take about three weeks to blend in.
- just take a troll and scrap up all the old yellow grass area and buy a little top soil and re-seed that area. it was too much and burned it, so it wont grow back the way it is, better to get it all out and just re-do that area. easy fix, just don't fertilize that area until you have it the same length as all the rest of you grass and you have mowed at least twice, just leave that area until fall when you fertilize then.
