how much should i charge per lawn for mowing?

im starting a lawn mowing bussiness and need to know.

1. I would call other landscapers in your area and ask what they charge per mow (don't tell them that you are competition...just pretend you are shopping around). Where I live it runs about $10 but can vary a lot depending on where you live.
2. Depends on how big the lawn is.....
3. Electric or Gas powered mower! i take it its gas, i used to charge £5 a garden $10-15 depending on size
4. You should charge depending on the amount of time you think it will involve. I would say if you think an average lawn will take an hour, you should charge $20. Unless you plan on getting a business license and paying taxes and all that. Then you should call around and find out what your competitors charge and use that as your guide.
