The Grass Doctor

How do we fix our yard that we have let get ruined by not picking up after our dog like we should?

We know about lyme and gypsum. What we are more curious about is how to "thin out" the big patches of really green grass that are leftover from a winter of leaving our dog's messes in the yard. We have about 20 "over fertilized" patches of really green grass that have grown a lot faster than the other grass seed around it. Is there an easy way to thin it out without totally burning out the grass?

  1. Just cut your grass as normal. In time it will all even out.
  2. Check out "zoya" grass. It will take over all weeds, ect. Has been proven good on playgrounds, parks, and high traffic areas. Requires one third of the water and mowing than st. augustine grass
