should i dig or rotivate my garden? its full of big weeds and lousey grass?
my garden is small and full of weeds that grow very fast and big, the grass grows in clumps. i've cut the grass and used weed killer a few times but with no permanent results. should i dig up all the grass and roots throw them out and put down compost and new grass seeds? any tips would be great as i am new to this. cheers

- is your garden full of unwanted bushes? i would try using some type of bush control spray or lotion to help maintain the size of your bushes!
- Identify your weeds, first, then figure out the right thing to do. Tilling the wrong weeds can make things worse.
- Well to combat the weeds I would put down a pre-emergent weed control. You can sprinkle it in your garden and it kills weeds during their germination process. Pull the exsisting weeds and then spread a thin layer of pre-em. You will want to do this quarterly throughout the year. There are summer weeds and winter weeds so you will want to apply it around the 1st of March then again in June then in Sept. and then again in Dec.
